The Fascinating Eastern India

Eastern part of the nation is one of the breathtaking treasures of the Incredible India with life full of vast culture, wildlife, traditions, trekking & adventure. East India is blessed with the beauty of nature surrounded with high mountains, deep valleys, rivers and dense forests and distinctive cuisines. This territory is also known as the “Seven Sisters” comprising of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya and Tripura.

The most famous of tourist destinations in this region are the Kaziranga National Park, Darjeeling and Gangtok.

Kaziranga National Park is wildlife world heritage in Assam. With approximately 40 km in length and 13 km in breadth, it is a vast dense forest. It comprises of the endangered species and the two-third of the world’s one-horned rhinoceroses. Due to the presence of highest density of tigers it was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. Kaziranga is a sanctuary for many elephants, wild buffalos, deers, and leopard. The park blossoms around 15 endangered species of wildlife.

Capital City of Sikkim- Gangtok

Gangtok is a beautiful hill station surrounded by Kanchenjunga, the world’s 3rd highest mountain peak. Major highlights of this place are- its mesmerizing waterfalls, ancient monuments and Buddhist Rumtek Monastery.

Darjeeling- The Queen of Hill

It is one of the most famous hill stations and popular amongst the honeymooners and the young couples. Darjeeling is famous for its tea gardens, Buddhist monasteries, Himalayan zoo, and mountain adventure.
